TURKEY SIZZLER Holidaymakers are returning to Turkey, according to holiday operator Tui, after it reported a 70 per cent rise in bookings to the country, which has suffered from a wave of terrorist attacks.
CHINA MOVE Internet company Google is to open a new robot research facility in China – despite its website being blocked in the country – to tap into artificial intelligence research being done there.
RUSSIAN BAN Donald Trump has enshrined in law a ban on the US government using products made by Russian company Kaspersky Lab, which has been accused of giving Kremlin spies a 'back door' into its systems.
JETS DEAL Electronics firm Senior has won a contract with aircraft parts maker Spirit Aerosystems to provide parts for Boeing.
The five-year contract is with Senior's Malaysian subsidiary, Senior Aerospace UPECA. Jefferies analysts estimated the deal is worth millions.

RECORD DOUBTS Medical research fund Wellcome Trust has warned that stock markets are unlikely to continue their record run as interest rates 'return to normality'.
Wellcome now manages £23.2billion of investments, and has generated a 16.9 per cent return this year.

CONTRACT WIN Engineer Petrofac has won a £119million contract from the Basra Oil Company to maintain a key oil export station in Iraq.
Petrofac has worked on the station since 2012 and the contract is for a further two years.
OIL GUSHING North Sea oil producer Ithaca Energy said its production has not been affected by the shutdown of the Forties pipeline system.
It expects production to average 13,000 to 14,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day for 2017. The firm was bought by Israel's Delek Group earlier this year.
