Mpower cricket academy won comfortably over Sunrise cricket academy in their match at the SPCT U-14 cricket tournament held on Friday.
Batting first, Mpower finished at 280 for 7 wickets in 50 overs. Aarav Chaudhary and Naman Dash scored twin fifties with 55 off 45 and 51 of 59 respectively. While Rs Rana (10-0-51-2) and Jaivardhan Saboo (10-1-50-1) stood out in the bowling department for the Sunrise cricket academy.
Sunrise on the other hand were bowled out for 114 runs. Jivyang Patel scored 25 off 49 and was the highest scorer for the team in the match followed by Jaivardhan Saboo who scored 17 off 16. Mahir Patel and Aaarav chaudhary of Mpower bagged three wickets each and proved difficult for the opposition to handle. Pradhyuman Bhatti was named as the man of the match for his fifer and his 38 runs off 47 balls.
For his fifty and three wicket haul, Aarav Chaudhary adjudged the man of the match.
