Wren Sports expand Perseverance range

Wren Sports has unveiled the latest addition to its growing Perseverance range of adventure cycling and bikepacking components.

The all-new Perseverance front rack is designed to be fitted to Wren’s inverted suspension fork and can be used with everything from bikepacking bags to baskets.

Traditionally, front racks and suspension forks have been incompatible as the rack needs to be braced on a non-moving part – almost impossible with ‘traditional’ mountain bike suspension forks.

As a result, consumers have had to choose between the convenience of a rack or the comfort of a suspension fork.

As the Wren fork is inverted, the rack can be attached to the stable part of the fork chassis and does not increase the unsprung weight on the moving parts. This maintains the fork’s sensitivity without negatively affecting the bike’s handling or shaking the cargo unnecessarily.

It features on/off removal with integrated dynamo light tabs and suspension fork bottle cage rails too.

These rails can double up as mounting rails for direct mount bags.

The Perseverance front rack will fit all Wren suspension forks from 100mm to 150mm hub widths. When removed from the bike, the Perseverance front rack folds flat for transport.

Richard Hurst, Wren Sports’ European Head, explains: “Perseverance has become a byword for adventure and innovation at Wren Sports. The line now includes adventure bars and a rear OneRack system that fits bikes of any wheel size or tyre width. Just one rack across all bikes is ideal for adventurers and commuters alike and is great for retailers with a wide cross section of customers as they can sell the one product across all sectors.

“Perseverance is one of our flagship lines at Wren and proves beyond doubt that we are committed to providing the very best components across wide market sectors without losing our adventure cycling roots.

“For example, we are seeing both the flat and drop bar Perseverance adventure bars proving really popular globally for gravel riders and club riders alike whilst the OneRack is selling well to commuters all whilst both being attractive to the serious adventure cyclist at the same time. One affordable product range across multiple disciplines has to be better for retailers and consumers alike.”

Wren Sports are now seeking retail partners and offer strong margins with no initial MOQ.
